Broker's Comments

Boatshed London are delighted to offer this very well maintained 50ft Narrowboat with London mooring at Lisson Grove.

Built in 2007 by well renowned Kendal Narrowboats, this boat makes an excellent liveaboard home for an individual or couple but is also set up perfectly for exploring the nation’s canals and rivers. The current owners have cruised extensively on the boat and she is fitted with a bow-thruster to make single-handed operating easily possible.

The boat is well laid out with a good sized saloon and galley with space for a dining table (or desk for those working from home). The double cabin has lots of storage similar to the rest of the boat. The boat is also equipped with a cratch cover for the bow and a pram cover for the cockpit to give you extra "indoor" space. The heads was replaced in 2013 and the holding tank is very large which means the frequency of pump outs is reduced greatly. There is diesel-powered central heating which can be operated remotely to make sure you always come back to a cosy boat.

The boat was blacked in 2019 with an engine service done at the same time so the next owners will be able to move straight on and not worry about this for a couple of years at least.

The mooring at Lisson Grove is fully transferable and is a fantastic community in the heart of St John's Wood. A great location for public transport with Marylebone Station about 10 mins walk. Regent's Park is also just round the corner. Current mooring fees are £5,237 per annum.
