Broker's Comments

This is a boat with a lot of potential although certainly a project boat. Designed by Robert Johnson who went on to become the designer for Island Packets, this model was designed for long distance live aboard cruising with its centre cockpit and additional wheel house below. A boat with a really big and solid feel with a lot of space below sleeping up to 7 in comfort. Unfortunately this example has been sitting for several years and is in need of some renovation both cosmetically and mechanically. The engine has not been run nor has the boat been lifted out of the water for c. 5 years. There is also considerable corrosion on all through hull fittings and sea cocks. On a positive note we are informed that the sails are in good condition. For someone looking for a renovation project willing to invest some time and money the yacht could be brought back to her former glory and find herself crossing the pond once more. No Machinery or equipment has been inspected or tested by the broker. Any potential purchaser must satisfy themselves as to the overall condition of the boat.
