Broker's Comments
Hallberg Rassy started as an amalgamation of the yards of two rival Swedish boatbuilders, Harry Hallberg and Christoph Rassy in 1972. They have always specialised in comfortable sailing boats suitable for longer voyages and the Hallberg Rassy 312, although one of their smaller models, definitely embodies that ideal. First built in 1979, nearly 700 312's were built making them one of HR's most popular designs.
This is one of the last built, hull 658 of 700 and a Mk II with the larger portlights, slightly raised superstructure for improved headroom and increased comfort overall. She has wheel steering, in-mast furling with all lines leading back to the cockpit and a good array of instruments which, although original all work well.
This is a really lovely example. particularly down below her fit out oozes Scandinavian quality and thanks to meticulous care she presents beautifully. Yes, she has teak decks but there is no evidence of any leaks, they've always been correctly maintained and if this is continued will give years more service. She's well equipped, right down to tools and engine spares and having been recently relaunched after servicing, antifoul and anodes (April 2026) she's available with a transferable marina berth too
