Broker's Comments

17-ft classic gaff sloop built 1920 - 30s. Wooden hull, carvel built, larch on oak.

Full restoration 2002-06. Mast and spars renewed then, also sails (James
Lawrence). Long keel. Sails cleaned 2022. Running rigging renewed 2023.

Cabin with grab rails. Can sleep 2, no creature comforts. Good inventory for
day sailing: CQR and kedge anchors, warps, fenders. No electrics. Bracket for
outboard. Option to include a 5 hp 4-stroke Mercury outboard.

Insurance survey 5 April 2022 by AC Yacht & Boat Surveyors: condition
“reasonable”. Hull now needs attention: it has been suggested to strip off all
paint, possibly renew some skin timbers, inspect/renew caulking and stopping.

Mainsail luff needs repair to luff (cringles etc.).

Trailer OK for yard work, not for highway.
Length on deck 17 ft, with bowsprit 20 ft, beam 6ft 6 in, draught 2 ft 9 in.

She's now out of the water for winter and the Owner is very open to offers!
